Check this out. Mount Redoubt, which is ironically seen in the picture directly below taken while draggin up the 'but, is about to blow for the first time in nearly 20 years. This is pretty cool stuff....at least I think so.
For reference: The picture below was taken 3 miles off the coast of Soldotna(see map). That's a long ways away!
